AZERI OPPOSITION PROPOSED JOINT CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT

PanARMENIAN.Net - At the coming presidential election Etibar Mamedov will be the joint candidate from two opposition parties - "People's Front" and "National Independence." As reported by "Interfax" agency, the corresponding agreement was signed yesterday by leaders of the two parties Ali Kerimli ("People's Front") and E. Mamedov ("National Independence"). According to the document, in case the candidate wins the election, the two parties will form a coalition government, headed by Kerimli. It should be reminded that the presidential election in Azerbaijan will be held October 15, 2003.
