  AZERI DEFENSE MINISTER VISIT TO US POSTPONED AGAINSeptember 18, 2003 - 19:59 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The visit of defense minister of Azerbaijan Safar Abiyev to the US, expected in September, is postponed, said US ambassador to Azerbaijan Reno Harnish, "Mediamax" agency reported. Answering the question why the visit was put off, the ambassador said, "you ask minister S. Abiyev about it." Within the passed 3 months S. Abiyev's visit to the US was postponed several times. A treaty on bilateral military cooperation is planned to be signed in the course of the visit.
