ARMENIA READY TO INCREASE ENERGY SUPPLY TO GEORGIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - If necessary Armenia can increase the amounts of the energy supply to Georgia, Armenian energy minister Armen Movsissian stated at the meeting with his Georgian colleague Mamuka Nikolaishvili, who arrived in Yerevan with a short working visit yesterday. As reported by the press office of the RA ministry of energy, the parties also discussed the issue of Georgia's paying off the $4 million debt for the electric power supplied by Armenia during 1998-99. It should be noted that 57,8 Mw of energy per day is exported from Armenia to Georgia to date.
