RUSSIA WILL NOT REVIEW PROPERTY FOR DEBT TREATY WITH ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - Moscow will not review Property for Debt treaty with Armenia and the list of Armenian enterprises passed to Russia in compliance with that document, co-chair of the Armenian-Russian intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation, Vice Premier of Russia Boris Alyoshin stated in Yerevan today. In his words, the matter concerns only making creative changes in the document for the work of the parties to be "more comfortable." "This is the first deal of the kind for Russia and we feel very responsible about it," Alyoshin said. In the course of the started visit he will hold talks with the Armenian government, will visit the enterprises conveyed to Russia. He also reported that in the course of the visit issues of military-engineering cooperation would be discussed. It should be reminded that Armenia has conveyed state property of a total of $93.76 million to Russia in order to pay off the state debt. The entities passed include the Hrazdan Heat Power Plant, MARS CJSC, Yerevan Research Institute of Automated Management Systems CJSC, Yerevan Research Institute of Mathematical Machines, Scientific Research and Industrial Enterprise of the Material Science CJSC.
