EUROPE INTERESTED IN NORMALIZING RELATIONS BETWEEN ARMENIA AND TURKEY

PanARMENIAN.Net - Relations between Armenia and Turkey bear importance as for stability in the South Caucasus as for all interested parties wishing to work in the region, EU special representative for the South Caucasus Heikki Talvitie told journalists in Yerevan. At that he noted with satisfaction that the relationship between Yerevan and Ankara entered an absolutely new and encouraging stage. Europe is interested in stability in the South Caucasus, regional mutual understanding and dialogue, which is getting right, H. Talvitie said. "However it is a long-lasting process and we are not likely to expect rapid results", he noted.
