NKR PRESIDENT AND EU SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE DISCUSSED KARABAKH PARTY'S PARTICIPATION IN PEACEMAKING PROCESS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yesterday evening Nagorno Karabakh President Arkadi Ghukasian had a telephone conversation with EU special representative for the South Caucasus Heikki Talvitie on the latter's initiative. According to a report by NKR President's press service, the parties exchanged opinions on the prospects of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement as well as the issue of participation of the Karabakh side in the peacemaking negotiation process. H. Talvitie expressed regret that he could not visit Stepanakert due to the heavy schedule, at the same time stating about his readiness to undertake the journey Nagorno Karabakh and meet with its leadership as soon as the opportunity occurs.
