ARMENIA'S AND AZERBAIJAN'S INTERESTS COINCIDE MORE THAN BEFORE, ARMENIAN FM DEPUTY CONSIDERS

PanARMENIAN.Net - To date the interests of Azerbaijan and Armenia coincide more than before, according to Echo Baku newspaper, Armenian foreign minister deputy Ruben Shugarian stated during yesterday's Baku-Yerevan TV bridge. He emphasized that today Armenia and Azerbaijan aspire to join European structures and "the settlement of the Karabakh conflict has become the stumbling block in the issue of achieving these common goals". In R. Shugarian's words, at present the Karabakh problem is "a part of the context of the South Caucasus and its future in the world family" "And what is extremely important, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia see this future almost the same way. We have already covered a certain part of this path - both Armenia and Azerbaijan became CE members. Both countries are in the OSCE thinking about new European initiatives", RA FM deputy stressed.
