ARMENIAN PRESIDENT NOT INCLINED TO LINK MILITARIST STATEMENTS OF AZERBAIJAN TO POSSIBLE RESUMPTION OF HOSTILITIES IN KARABAKH

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President is not inclined to link militarist statements of Azerbaijan with possible resumption of hostilities in Nagorno Karabakh. "Unless the problem is solved, the resumption of hostilities is possible theoretically, however it is more dependent on the power balance in the region, economic development and the military potential of our country," Robert Kocharian stated in a conversation with journalists today. In this respect, in his opinion, Armenia should pin its hopes on the domestic stability, the country power and the combatant value of the army. Just like in the years 1988 and 1992, today Armenia is not afraid of militarist threats of Azerbaijan, the Armenian leader said.
