China provides 88 ambulances for Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - In the framework of the agreement on technical and economic cooperation, China provided 88 ambulances to Armenia, of which 35 were meant for Yerevan, while the rest were distributed within the country’s provinces, according to Armenian Minister of Healthcare Harutyun Kushkyan.

“Obtainment of new vehicles is very important for Armenia, since the ambulance park has not been renewed for the past 20 years,” Kushkyan told journalists.

“Today we may assert that we have all necessary technical capabilities and medics to provide top level first-aid,” Kushkyan said, adding that the system of Armenian ambulance service already meets international standards.
