4 Armenian chess players participate in open tournament in Iranian city of Mashhad

Armenian GM Levon Babujyan scored 5.5 points out of 7 possible at the international open chess tournament in the Iranian city of Mashhad and yields 0.5 points to leaders, armchess.am wrote.



Other representatives of Armenia Ara Minasyan, Gevorg Poghosyan Suren Harutyunyan scored 5 points. Chess players will hold another 2 meetings by the end of the tournament.



At another international tournament, held in the Chapel of la Grande (France) Armenian GM Davit Harutyunyan (Georgia) scored 7 points out of 9 possible. The tournament was attended by 652 chess players.
