BATE beats Volga in a friendly match

Wednesday, February 24 Belarusian BATE won a 1:0.victory in a friendly match against Volga of Nizhny Novgorod, with Alexander Alumona of BATE scoring the game-winner in the 63rd minute of the game.



BATE, with forward Hovhannes Goharyan as a part of the team, continues team practice session in Turkey in preparation for Belarus Super cup.

FC BATE Borisov is a Belarusian football team playing in the city of Borisov. They compete in the Belarusian Premier League and are the reigning champions. BATE are the only Belarusian team to have qualified for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, having done so in 2008-09. Their home stadium is the Borisov City Stadium.
