Nalbandian to begin his 10th Sony Ericsson Open with a game vs. Kubot PanARMENIAN.Net - Former World No. 3 and 2002 Wimbledon semifinalist, Argentinean tennis player of Armenian descent David Nalbandian will begin his 10th Sony Ericsson Open with a game vs. Lukasz Kubot of Poland on March 24.  In the second round, he will rival No. 30 Viktor Troicki of Serbia, gotennis.ru reported.



The prize fund of the tournament is $3 645 000.

The 2010 Sony Ericsson Open (played March 22 - April 4) is one of nine ATP Masters Series events on the ATP calendar, a Premier Mandatory event on the Sony Ericsson WTA TOUR calendar, and features the top men's and women's tennis players in the world.
