  RA, NKR to celebrate International Olympic Day on June 26June 24, 2010 - 19:17 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On 23 June, Olympic Day is celebrated around the world. Olympic Day is a worldwide commemoration of Baron Pierre de Coubertin’s June 23, 1894, convening of the first International Olympic Committee meeting at the Sorbonne in Paris, and the founding of the Modern Olympic Games. By the decree of RA National Olympic Committee, Armenia and Karabakh will celebrate International Olympic Day on June 26, RA NOC press service reported. To mark the event, Olympic Day Run will be launched in Yerevan, with winners in 7 age categories to be awarded with RA NOC prizes.
