UNRESOLVED STATE OF KARABAKH PROBLEM SHOULD NOT HAMPER ESTABLISHMENT OF COOPERATION IN REGION, EP MEMBERS SAY

PanARMENIAN.Net - At the 6th sitting of the EU-Armenia Interparliamentary Cooperation Commission, finished yesterday, two important statements over the Nagorno Karabakh problem were adopted. As European Co-Chair of the Commission, EP member Ursula Schleicher told journalists in Yerevan, Armenian and European parliamentarians recognized that the unresolved state of the Karabakh problem should not be considered as an obstacle to establishment of economic, environmental and other contacts in the region. Besides, European deputies agreed with the opinion that the conflicts in the South Caucasus should be differentiated due to their variance and thereupon need for different solutions.
