Liberty Square hosting ANC rally despite delay![]() April 20, 2012 - 19:07 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerevan’s Liberty Square is hosting Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition block despite previous announcement new venue was considered. Earlier, on arriving at rally site, ANC leaders faced a hindrance: a stage was installed at Liberty Square for April 22 concert of Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli. As the rally launched, ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrossian was met with loud greetings and given flowers. At present, power at Liberty Square is cut off. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
