IN STRASBOURG ARMENIAN AND AZERI FOREIGN MINISTERS WILL EXCHANGE VIEWS ON "SOME IDEAS" ON KARABAKH SETTLEMENTMay 4, 2004 - 19:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - In the course of the Strasbourg meeting of Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan scheduled May 12 an exchange of views on "some ideas" on settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict will take place, Azeri Foreign Minister Elmar Mamedyarov told journalists in Baku. In his words, the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs will take part in the meeting, too. "We will continue discussions within the context of the negotiations held by the Presidents of the two countries," the Minister said. At that he did not deny the supposition made by journalists that the details of the aforementioned ideas had been discussed during previous talks. Being asked whether progress towards a more constructive posture was made by the Armenian party, Mamedyarov answered: "I well tell it to you after May 12."![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
