Arthur Arakelyan reaches European wrestling qualifying tournament  ¼ final

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian freestyle wrestler Arthur Arakelyan (60 kg) beat Mandakhnaran Ganzorig (Mongolia) in 1/8 final of European qualifying tournament for the Summer Olympic Games.

In ¼ final he will face off against Canada’s John Pineda.

In 1/16 final, Edgar Yenokyan (96kg) lost to Gergely Sandor Kiss (Hungary) 0:4. In 1/8 final Musa Murtazaliev (74kg) will rival Murad Gaidarov.

Ruslan Basiev (120kg) will perform on May 5.

Mihran Jaburyan (55kg), David Safaryan (66kg) and Hajimurat Nurmagomedov (84kg) have already gained an entry to Summer Olympic Games.
