Paper: RPA-Prosperous Armenia alliance prospects still unknown![]() May 10, 2012 - 12:03 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Minister of Urban Development, head of Prosperous Armenia’s election office Vardan Vardanyan visited Yerevan’s Victory Park on May 9, on the occasion of the Victory Day. Hraparak paper’s reporter asked Vardanyan whether they are content with the number of votes they got at parliamentary elections, and whether Prosperous Armenia is going to form a coalition with the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA). Upon hearing this question, the minister quickly left the scene, paper claims. When the reporter followed him insisting on getting an answer, Vardanyan said angrily: “Are you lacking good manners? I said I do not wish to speak.” Obviously, nobody knows anything about the future perspectives, and the mere thought of losing their bit of pie is making the officials nervous, Hraparak says. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova. Partner news |
