RUSSIAN STATE DUMA HEAD TO VISIT ARMENIA IN AUTUMN

PanARMENIAN.Net - Within the framework of the 6-th International Economic Forum in Saint Petersburg Chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia Artur Baghdasarian met with Speaker of the State Duma of Russia Boris Gryzlov and head of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of Russia Sergey Mironov. As reported by the Press Service of the Armenian Parliament, the parties discussed questions of intensification of the cooperation between the Armenian and Russian Parliaments. A preliminary agreement is reached for B. Gryzlov to visit Armenia in the autumn - on the invitation of the Armenian party. In Saint Petersburg the head of the Armenian Parliament also met with Chairman of the Senate of the Czech Republic Peter Pithard. In the course of the conversation the sides touched upon issues of establishment of interparliamentary ties, noting that the Czech experience in the legislative and economic spheres could be useful for Armenia.
