Armenia, Argentina to strengthen ties

PanARMENIAN.Net - On May 17, a newly-appointed Argentinean Ambassador to Armenia Diego Ernesto Alvarez Rivera presented copies of his credentials to Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.At the meeting, the parties stressed warm relations between Armenia and Argentina as a basis for further development of ties.

The Armenian official further expressed hope for the Ambassador’s contribution to strengthening bilateral relations.

The parties went on to discuss organization of high-level visits, intensification of cooperation in the framework of international structures, promotion of economy and cultural ties.

In conclusion, the Armenian official and the Ambassador specifically noted the role of Argentina’s Armenian community in strengthening of ties between the countries, foreign ministry press service reported.
