PanARMENIAN.Net - July 4-6 Armenian President Robert Kocharian paid an unofficial visit to the Russian Komi Republic. As reported by the Press Service of the President of Armenia, R. Kocharian had meetings with the leaders of Komi and representatives of the Armenian community of the republic. As in its turn reported by Regions.ru, R. Kocharian's visit was held on the invitation of Komi head Vladimir Torlopov. As stated by the Armenian leader, the visit resulted in the working out of a number of interesting proposals on mutual cooperation, which can further be developed both in Komi and Armenia. In V. Torlopov's words, "there are things we can learn from Armenia and adopt experience from it in many respects." According to the source, after the meetings V. Torlopov invited R. Kocharian to hunt in Yugyd Va National Park. It should be noted that the Armenian President arrived in Komi July 4 evening, after an informal summit of the CIS leaders in Moscow.
