OSCE CiO calls for concessions in Karabakh process

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia and Azerbaijan mustn’t switch the blame for contact line incidents on one another, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ireland's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Eamon Gilmore said.

“Laying the past blame will no way foster resolution of the conflict,” he said, in response to PanARMENIAN.Net reporter’s question as to the indication of the side to blame for recent provocations will foster prevention of contact line tensions.

OSCE Chairperson-in-Office noted exclusion of the use of force or threats as a key factor for peaceful resolution of the conflict.

“Parties must stand ready to make necessary concessions,” he said.

Mr. Gilmore further expressed OSCE’s intention to contribute to Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement efforts.
