ARMENIAN NATIONAL ASSEMBLY SPEAKER RECEIVED ITALIAN PARLIAMENTARY DELEGATION

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Armenian National Assembly Speaker Artur Baghdasarian received the delegation of the Italian Parliament headed by Senate Vice-Speaker Lamberto Dini. In the course of the meeting, at which Italian Ambassador to Armenia Marco Clemente was also present, the parties emphasized the importance of strengthening interparliamentary ties and exchange of experience. Special attention was paid to the cooperation of the regions, which can open new prospects for the development of the Armenian economy. In the course of the conversation the importance of cooperation within the frames of EU programs, as well as creation of the House of Italy in Armenia, which will promote strengthening the scientific, cultural, commercial and economic relations, was also emphasized. It should be noted that the parties exchanged mutual invitations to pay official visits.
