  TALKS ON ALLOCATING ARMENIA MILLENNIUM CHALLENGE ACCOUNT FUNDS PROGRESS SUCCESSFULLYOctober 9, 2004 - 18:26 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The negotiations on providing Armenia with funds within the frames of the Millenium Challenge Account are proceeding successfully, chairman of the parliamentary commission for credit and financial, budget and economic affairs Gagik Minasian told Arminfo news agency. To note, according to the preliminary assessments of Armenian Minister of Finance and Economy Vardan Khachatrian, Armenia expects to receive $700 million, at that $100 million will be assigned by the end of 2004. In the main, the funds of Millennium Challenge Account are provided for the stimulation of political freedoms, just state government and investments in education, public health and social sphere.
