ARMENIAN PRESIDENT AND RUSSIAN CONSTITUTIONAL COURT LEADER DISCUSSED CONSTITUTIONAL JUSTICE QUESTIONS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Robert Kocharian today received the delegation of the Constitutional Court of Russia, headed by Court Chairman Valery Zorkin. As reported by the Press Service of the Armenian leader, in the course of the meeting the parties discussed constitutional justice questions, activities of constitutional courts. Touching upon the coming constitutional reforms in Armenia, R. Kocharian noted that they first of all aim at establishment of civil society, strengthening stability in the country and forming balance between different branches of power. The Armenian President also evaluated the cooperation and mutual contacts aiming at exchange of experience as useful and necessary. It should be reminded that "Law Superiority Principle in Constitutional Justice Practice" 9-th international conference will open in Yerevan with the participation of Valery Zorkin October 15-16.
