Lebanon says Israel remotely detonates spying devices in south July 3, 2012 - 14:18 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Lebanese army says Israel has remotely detonated three spying devices in south Lebanon. According to AP, the explosions occurred Monday evening in the village of Zrariye north of the Litani river. The militant Hezbollah group says it discovered the devices before their detonation. It accused Israel of violating Lebanese sovereignty. The army said in a statement published on its website Tuesday, July 3 that it was investigating the incident. There was no immediate comment from Israeli officials. Lebanon and Israel are officially in a state of war. Hezbollah and Israel fought a month-long war in 2006. Lebanese and UN officials have accused Israel in the past of detonating similar spying devices planted in south Lebanon.
