NOMINATION OF PARTIES AND UNIONS FOR ARMENIAN PARLIAMENTARY ELECTION FINISHED

PanARMENIAN.Net - The nomination of parties and union for participating in the election of the Armenian parliament to be held May 25 is finished. As reported by chairman of the central electoral commission of Armenia Artak Sahradian, 24 Armenian political parties have submitted applications. 1122 candidates, who are candidates on proportional system, also claim places in the parliament. As noted by "De Facto" agency, "Justice" opposition bloc has the largest number of candidates on its list, i.e. 137. The Republican Party of Armenia has 120 and the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun - 101.
