Armenia’s health insurance plan covers 5-10% of population - expert

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s health insurance plan currently covers only 5-10% of the population, Nairi Insurance representative said.

As Armen Shahinyan told a news conference, the coverage includes only pilot program applicants.

Dwelling on mandatory health insurance, he noted that the program has yielded positive results, contributing to solution of numerous health problems.

“Our country must fully implement mandatory health insurance plan,” Mr. Shahinyan said.
