Sweden views Armenia as important partner - Migration Minister![]() September 7, 2012 - 15:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with Sweden's Minister for Migration and Asylum Policy Tobias Billström. Mr. Billström is in Yerevan to participate in the opening of a program on the assistance to state migration service and development of migration management in Armenia. At the meeting, Mr. Nalbandian stressed the importance of the development of multilateral relations with Sweden, also hailing the high level of political dialogue between the countries. As Mr. Billström, in turn, noted, Sweden views Armenia as an important partner. The official expressed satisfaction over the active development of bilateral ties, stressing that the agreements reached during his visit will promote cooperation in the sector of migration. Discussions on Armenia-EU partnership, as well as facilitation of Armenia-EU visa regime were also on meeting agenda. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
