Armenia-CoE action program discussed in New York

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met September 28 with Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Thorbjørn Jagland.

Preparation for Armenia’s Chairmanship of Council of Europe Committee of Ministers, reforms in the organization, as well as implementation of Armenia-CoE action program were in the focus of the meeting.

CoE Secretary General further deemed extradition and release of Azerbaijani criminal Ramil Safarov inadmissible, with Minister Nalbandian giving high assessment to CoE and other international organizations’ condemning statements.
