Romanian ex-leader: EU wants rapid settlement of Karabakh conflict![]() October 5, 2012 - 17:07 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The OSCE Minsk Group must intensify efforts to resolve the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, former Romanian President told media in Baku, Trend News reported. Emil Constantinescu further characterized the Nagorno Karabakh issue as important and painful. "The OSCE Minsk Group's activity must be intensified to rapidly resolve the problem," he said. Constantinescu also stressed that the EU countries believe that the Nagorno Karabakh conflict must be setteled in the near future. "We support resolution the conflict in the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group," he said. The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
