  Armenian Genocide bill submitted to Italian parliament October 12, 2012 - 22:34 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - RA National Assembly speaker Hovik Abrahamyan met October 12 with members of Armenia-Italy friendship group at Italian parliament. As the friendship group head Sandra Chapman noted at the meeting, a bill declaring April 24 Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day in Italy had been submitted to the parliament. She further highly assessed Armenian people’s contribution to the European culture, economy and other fields. “It’s time for Europe to return to you what throughout history you invested to Europe,” she said. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
