To justify his journeys to Southeast Asia and Africa, he deemed it incorrect to list the countries among the exotic states, dubbing Congo one of the leaders in diamond mining. Thus, Nalbandian indirectly confessed to having visited Congo to explore its diamond production as “part of his proactive foreign policy,” the paper says.
