  ARFD raised over 44000 Euro to aid Syrian Armenians November 6, 2012 - 21:19 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - ARD Dashnaktsutyun in Western Europe has announced completion of the first stage of Syrian Armenians outreach program. Euro 44135 was raised in the framework of the program which allowed dispatch of 2 planes with humanitarian assistance to Aleppo. ARFD urges further aid to Syrian Armenians who’re facing a severe humanitarian catastrophe. Similar campaigns are being held in different regions of Europe. Over 30000 people were killed in violence across Syria as rebels wage a civil war to unseat President Assad. Aleppo’s Armenian community listed 60000 people before the crisis broke out. Outflow of Armenians from Syria followed anti-Assad rebellion, with dozens of Armenians killed.
