BAKU REQUESTED OSCE MG TO ASSIST IN RETURN OF AZERI POWs

PanARMENIAN.Net - The international group on search of POWs and missing and release of hostages broke out negotiations with the Nagorno Karabakh authorities on the release of three Azeri POWs captured by the Karabakh defense army. According to group coordinator Avez Gasanov, the group appealed to the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs to assist the resolution of the issue. The mediators promised to attend to the problem, Gasanov noted. "Now we are awaiting the outcomes of the negotiations between the mediators and the Karabakh leadership. To remind, the three Azeri soldiers were captured by the officers of the Karabakh defense army when crossing the border on February 15.
