Iranian Armenians actively follow political developments – MP

PanARMENIAN.Net - Though Iran’s Armenian community prefers non-interference in the political field, it actively follows the recent developments, Iranian MP Robert Beglarian said.

“Deterioration of Iran’s economic situation has recently been recorded due to the blockade policy. Certainly, the latter has also affected Armenian community, which has taken the path of emigration,” he said.

Dwelling on 2013 presidential elections in Iran, the MP said pre-election activity has already observed.

“The opposition hasn’t yet determined its final stance on the upcoming race due to the existing disagreements,” he said, stressing the need for the opposition to focus on settlement of the economic problems.
