National Democratic Union not to nominate presidential candidate

PanARMENIAN.Net - National Democratic Union (NDU) held a meeting on Dec 1, with board members and chairmen of provisional institutions present.

The current political situation and NDU’s position on the upcoming presidential elections were in the focus of the discussion, with the party leader Vazgen Manukyan analyzing the oncoming developments.

The party members further briefed those present on the rural residents’ expectations from the February race, with a decision adopted against NDU’s nominating a presidential candidate.

The board further decided to hold a meeting in January 2012 to specify the party’s stance on the presidential elections.
