CEASE-FIRE DEPENDS ON POLITICAL WILL OF CONFLICTING PARTIES

PanARMENIAN.Net - The discussion by the Armenian and Azeri Presidents the frequent cease-fire violations contributed to stabilization at the contact line, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzuk stated in Yerevan. In his words, the maintenance of the cease-fire first of all depends on the political will of the conflicting parties. Mr. Kasprzuk reminded that despite some incidents the parties have been exerting efforts for preserving the cease-fire for over 11 years already. Taking into account this fact the issue of deploying international peacekeepers at the contact line does not emerge.
