  Vachik Vardanyan named Armenia's best sambo wrestler in 2012  December 12, 2012 - 17:05 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - The top 10 of Armenia’s best sambo wrestlers and coaches was announced at a Tuesday, December 11 meeting of the Sambo Federation of Armenia. The following sambo wrestlers made it to top 10: Vachik Vardanyan, Ashot Danielyan, Tigran Kirakosyan, Gor Mailyan, Mkhitar Mkhitaryan, Mavrik Nasibyan, Vahan Vardanyan, Sose Balasanyan, Roza Khachatryan, Gayane Khachatryan. The following coaches were included in top 10: Samvel Avdalyan, Hayk Avetisyan, Azat Andryan, Arshaluys Balyan, Edik Grigoryan, Aghasi Galstyan, Ernest Mirzoyan, Vovik Khojayan, Manvel Khoetsyan, Vardan Khugeyan.
