TEHERAN AND KIEV PROPOSE PARTICIPATION IN IRAN-UKRAINE GAS PIPELINE TO ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - Teheran and Kiev propose participation in the pentalateral commission for study, design and building the Iran-Ukraine gas pipeline to Armenia, says a memorandum signed by Iranian and Ukrainian representatives in Teheran. When commenting on the document Iranian Deputy Oil Minister for International Affairs Mohammad Hadi Nejad-Hosseinian stated, Ukraine is interested in annually importing 20-30 billion cubic meters of gas. Besides, Ukraine is ready to entitle Iran to use its infrastructure to transport 20 billion cubic meters of gas to Europe annually. Both parties proposed forming a pentalateral commission for studying matters referring to the design and building of Iran-Ukraine gas pipeline to Armenia, Georgia and Russia, reported Mediamax.
