Human rights activist: Sargsyan reps enjoy privileges![]() February 18, 2013 - 19:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Human rights activist Avetik Ishkhanyan briefed on the cases of election frauds recorded by observers during Feb 18 presidential polls. He said their organization monitored the course of the elections at N 6 polling station in Yerevan’s Ajapnyak administrative district. Mr Ishkhanyan noted long queues, ballot stuffing and voting bribery as the main violations reported. “However, the atmosphere was much calmer as compared with that of previous parliamentary and presidential elections,” he said, adding that the authorized representatives of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) candidate Serzh Sargsyan enjoyed privileges. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
