As of 12am, the chairman of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), incumbent president Serzh Sargsyan garnered 24 028 (68, 78%) votes; Heritage party chairman Raffi Hovannisian got 9 484 (27,15%) votes; former foreign minister of Nagorno Karabakh Republic Arman Melikyan received 67 (0,19%) votes; former prime minister Hrant Bagratyan - 537 (1,54%) votes; National Self-Determination Union party head Paruyr Hayrikyan - 297 (0,85%) votes; Radio Hay director Andrias Ghukasyan 146 (0,42%) votes; literature expert Vardan Sedrakyan – 378 (1,08%) votes. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult.
