Ex-president Kocharian’s son to run for mayor?

PanARMENIAN.Net - Prosperous Armenia party has not yet decided on the format of participation in Yerevan City Council elections.

As the party’s spokesman Tigran Urikhanyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, the decision will be taken following a consultation.

Rumors are afloat that ex-president Robert Kocharian’s son Sedrak Kocharian may top Prosperous Armenia’s list in Yerevan City Council elections, due May 5. According to another option, the party will run in the elections with the list of 2012 parliamentary polls. Prosperous Armenia parliamentary group secretary Naira Zohrabyan is also rumored to top the party’s list.
