Call to urge Turkey to acknowledge Armenian Genocide to be conveyed to EU Uruguayan Office

PanARMENIAN.Net - Thousands of signatures will be presented to the Uruguayan EU Office in Montevideo today. The signatories call upon the European Union to urge Turkey to acknowledge Armenian Genocide. The action was initiated by Uruguayan MP of Armenian origin Lilian Keshishian and various Armenian organizations. Vice President of Uruguay, Ministers and MPs are among those to have signed the appeal, RFE/RL reported.
