  Turkish and Azeri FMs Discussed Karabakh SettlementOctober 17, 2005 - 14:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkish and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers Abdullah Gul and Elmar Mammadyarov met in Istanbul to discuss the Azeri-Turkish relations. Abdullah Gul informed his Azeri counterpart of the EU-Turkey talks. In his turn Elmar Mammadyarov presented the pre-election situation in Azerbaijan. Besides, the parties discussed the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement and a number of economic issues including the schedule of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline construction. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. Authorities said a total of 192 Azerbaijani troops were killed and 511 were wounded during Azerbaijan’s offensive.
