In the words of Samara CCI President some 100 agreements were signed during the 2-day negotiations. In his turn, President of the Armenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Martin Sargsyan noted that the parties also agreed on importing output of Samara manufacturers (mineral water, school materials, second helpings) to RA and on exporting Armenian produce (Noyan and Sis natural juices, dried fruits and dairy products) to Samara Oblast. To note, the Days of Economy and Culture of Samara Oblast are being held in Armenia presently. In 2004 the commodity turnover between Armenia and Samara Oblast made $13.1 million; Armenian export totaled in $700 thousand, IA Regnum reported.Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”.
