Armenians of Israel urge Jerusalem to recognize Genocide![]() March 27, 2013 - 14:00 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On the threshold of the 98th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Empire the Union of the Armenians of Israel issued an address to the people of Israel. In its address, the Union urged for recognition of the Armenian Genocide. Recalling the atrocities perpetrated to exterminate millions of people for political motives, as well as a number of nations who already recognized the crime against humanity, the Union urged the government of Israel, a country whose people have been through the Holocaust, to disallow impunity for Genocide orchestrators. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
