North-South Highway Next Part Opened in Karabakh

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yesterday the ceremony of opening of the next 5-kilometer part of the North-South highway took place in Nagorno Karabakh. The highway is of strategic importance to Nagorno Karabakh and is being built under the auspices of Hayastan all-Armenian fund. NKR President Arkady Ghukasyan, Parliament Speaker Ashot Gulyan, Premier Anushavan Daniyelyan, Hayastan all-Armenian fund Executive Director Naira Melkumyan and others were present at the opening ceremony. NKR President and Hayastan all-Armenian fund Executive Director were granted the right to cut the symbolic ribbon. It should be reminded that the North-South highway totals 170 km and the project cost is some $25 million, reported IA Regnum.
