OSCE MG Hasn't Received Response to Kocharian-Aliyev Meeting Proposal Yet

PanARMENIAN.Net - The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs have not received any response to their proposal to hold a meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents in January, Russian Co-Chair Yuri Merzlyakov stated. When commenting on President Kocharian's statement to hold the meeting in January Merzlyakov said, "We have sent a letter with a request to receive us in mid December and some other proposals as well. But I cannot foretell reaction to them." The Russian mediator voiced hope that the reply will be given at the meeting of the Azeri and Armenian FMs in Ljubljana December 5-6. In his words, the Co-Chairs will hold separate meetings with the Foreign Ministers. "It is very hard to hold a 2-hour joint meeting taking into account the heavy schedule of both Ministers. So we will meet with Ministers separately, present our proposals and listen to them," he said, Trend agency reported.
