PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian tied the Alexander Alekhine Memorial round 8 game against Laurent Fressinet (France) to share 1st-4th spots with 4,5 points.

The Peter Svidler- Viswanathan Anand game also ended in a tie, with the remaining round 8 matches ongoing.
